Description:
|
I have a Forest Green 1992 Saab 900 S up for sale.
The Good:
-The stock stereo is pretty nice, full level adjustments, CD player, Cassette, AM/FM radio, and a bullet proof anti-theft system
-The motor is running like a champ, is in great shape, and will run until you don't like the car anymore
-The seats are genuine leather, and there are no tears or any sort of major aesthetic damage on them.
-Driver's seat is heated
-Power windows & sunroof
The Bad:
-The front end suffered damage under the previous owner (got wedged under a truck) as a result the car's hood is bent in a bit.
-As in most Saabs its age, the headliner is in poor shape, passengers in the back seat occasionally suffer from chronic cases of 'Saabdruff'.
-The front seats both have two loose seams, right now I have seat covers over them, but those looking to enjoy the luxury of leather will need to have them sewn up.
-I'm not sure, but I think that some belt associated with the power steering is going bad, it's been making a racket when it's been cold out, so there you go.
-The ignition is a little funky, which doesn't affect the car starting up, but does allow you to take the key out while the motor is running.
-It leaks oil (needs a new valve cover gasket and it'll be golden).
-On my way back from Colorado, the exhaust fell off the car. It's been reattached, but will need to be replaced before you'd want to drive the car long distances.
Better pictures will be posted soon.
