I am either looking for an inexpensive (less than $800)used engine for this 1996 Saab Turbo SE manual convertible or sell the car for someone else to do the work and have a great car in wonderful condition. It is in storage right now and I need to get it back this week to take photos. The convertible top is like new, the exterior is in great condition with a bit of rust on lower trunk gate due to crack in light there and the beige leather interior is cracking slightly in the front seats but in mint condition in the rear. Has six cd changer in trunk wood accents around accessories and a hunter green exterior. I would love to keep this car if I could find an engine to replace the one we believe was fried in the overheat. We will drive to pick up totalled exterior of another Saab of comparable year or engine. We are located in Michigan and can be negotiable on all issues. We have to do something with this great car.
